Common questions pre-application

What do I need to provide when I apply?

The data we need to process your application is as follows:

Name and address
Date of birth
Contact details
Employment and salary details
Banking details

Why is this information collected and what do you do with it?

We comply with certain rules and regulations in order to ensure that we lend responsibly. Part of that process means that we ensure that you are who you say you are and that you can afford to repay the loan.

Are there any credit checks undertaken?

We do not need to credit check you in order to assess your application, so currently we undertake no credit checking.

I have a bad credit history, can I still apply?

Yes, we base our decision on your current circumstances.

I do not have a debit card, can I still apply?

Yes, so long as your account accepts direct deposits and debits you can be successful.

How long does it take to apply and process?

The application only takes a minute or two from start to finish and if all information is to our satisfaction we can deposit the funds the same day. Same day deposits are usually achieved if the application is received prior to 2pm. In around 33% of cases, we do require further checks to be undertaken or information obtained and in these circumstances the application process can take a little longer.

How much can I borrow?

You can borrow as little as £80 or as much as £750 depending on your personal circumstances. If it is your first loan with us, you may be asked to take a smaller loan until we have get to know you better.

Paying us back

How do I repay the loan?

We take the agreed amount via direct debit or from your debit card on your next payday, that’s it!

I have heard that I can defer my repayment, is this true?

Yes, you can defer you repayment up to 2 times before we will ask you to start reducing the balance. The charges are the same with no additional charges levied.

What happens if I’m having trouble repaying?

In some cases we do understand that due to circumstances beyond your control you may not be able to repay us. Let us know as soon as you know you will have difficulty and we can do our best to help you.
